More retained firefighters needed

An open evening is being held at Witney Fire Station on Thursday 24th April from 7pm to 8pm as part of a recruitment drive for retained (part-time) firefighters in west Oxfordshire.While there is a general shortage across the county, there is a particular need for day cover at Witney, Bampton and Burford stations.

The Witney station maintains two fire crews while Bampton and Burford have one each.
