Road Closure in Witney
There is currently a road closure in force in Witney that will affect many drivers.
The Thorney Leys Road is closed between the Burwell Meadow turn and the Curbridge Road/Deer Park roundabout.
This means that Burwell Drive/Burwell Meadow is experiencing heavier traffic than usual as drivers find alternate routes and surrounding areas are suffering as a result. We received reports of it taking up to 15 minutes to get from the Deer Park area on to the A40 Oxford bound near Ducklington this morning.
We would assume that the turning into the Thorney Leys estate off Thorney Leys road must still be open for access???
The road is scheduled to be closed between 6th and 8th September.
