"We are excited to be arriving in the thriving market town of Witney this spring, just in time for Easter," says Magnus Olsson, H&M's Country Manager for the UK and Ireland. “The Woolgate Shopping Centre is a perfect location for our new store, allowing us to expand our presence in Oxfordshire. We are looking forward to showcasing our spring/summer collections for women and children and hope that they will be well received.”

Occupying 670 square metres, the store will employ approximately 20 members of staff and will carry a varied range of H&M collections for women and children, with everything from modern basics to the very latest international trends, including coordinated accessories – and all at wallet-friendly prices. Right now fashion is all about reinventing classic favourites, restyling those key pieces to feel completely new. For women's wear this season there's a particular focus on the mood of the 60s and 70s, with brightly coloured shapes that are short and sharp alongside a more romantic silhouette that is long and elegant. At H&M we are proud to continue working with sustainable materials to make fashion forward clothes that will soon be timeless. The Conscious Collection, a collection for women, men and children made from more sustainable materials such as organic cotton, Tencel® and recycled polyester will be on sale in all H&M stores from 14th April, including the new Witney location (the women's and children's wear Conscious Collection only will be available in Witney) .

H&M launched in the UK in 1976 and currently has 184 stores nationwide. The H&M Group has more than 2,200 stores in 38 different markets.
