New Witney bridge over the river Windrush
A new bridge in Witney has been opened.
The new bridge, named Weavers Bridge, links Witan Way with a new housing development being built by Barratt Homes and is thought to be one of the first bridges (excluding footbridges) to span the river Windrush for more than 100 years.
The bridge was named by a competition winner from St Mary's CofE Infant School in Witney
