Witney - Fatal RTC on Ducklington Lane

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 13-year-old boy was killed in a traffic collision on the evening of 16th November.

The incident happened at around 8.05pm in Ducklington Lane, Witney.

The boy was involved in a collision with a grey Fiat Punto.

Sgt Pete Jell, from Bicester Roads Policing base, said: “I would like to hear from anyone that may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision, or witnessed the collision itself.”

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has any information which could help the police with their enquiries is urged to contact Sgt Pete Jell, based at Bicester Roads Policing base via 0845 8 505 505. • The driver of the car, a 17-year-old boy, has been arrested on suspicion of careless driving.

Update (17/11) - The 17-year-old boy arrested yesterday (16/11) on suspicion of careless driving has been released on bail till Wednesday 16 January 2008.
