Exposure - Witney

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man exposed himself to woman in Witney on Saturday (11/8).

At 2pm, a woman in her forties was walking along Edington Road when she was approached by a man driving a white, Transit-style van. He called her over to the van and exposed himself to her.

He is white, aged 30-35 years, tall and skinny. He has short, blonde hair and blue eyes.

He spoke with a local accent and was wearing a blue and white, horizontally striped Polo shirt and beige trousers.

PC Nigel Lomas of Witney Police Station said: "This incident has caused great distress to this woman and we need to catch him before he targets another innocent person.

"If you have seen a man of this description of if you have been a victim yourself and not reported it to police, then we would be very keen to hear from you."

PC Lomas can be contacted via the Police Enquiry Centre via 0845 8 505 505.

If you don't want to talk to police and don't want to leave your name call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
