Volunteers rally to repair dry stone wall
The Wychwood Project and volunteers from the Witney Woodland Volunteers group have carried out much-needed repairs to an old dry stone wall at Langel Common, Witney.
The work, which was done with the co-operation and support of the landowner, Eton College, was led by volunteer Trevor Townsend, an experienced dry stone waller who showed just how complicated and difficult the old rural craft can be.
