Burglary - Eynsham

Police were called to Mill Street in Eynsham at 3.15am yesterday (19th February) after reports of a burglary in progress.

A white van drove into a shop and offenders stole plasma television screens. A Subaru car was also believed to be involved.

Police officers arrived on scene and a pursuit took place into Gloucestershire police area. The offenders left the van and the property was seized. A 19-year old man was later caught on foot. He has been arrested on suspicion of burglary.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or saw these two vehicles together in the area is urged to contact officers at Witney priority crime team via 0845 8 505 505.
