Leisure Centre extension officially opens

Works on the Windrush Leisure Centre are now fully completed.

Cllr Keith Stone, Chairman of West Oxfordshire District Council will host a formal handover event on Thursday 28th September. Councillors and other invited guests will attend and be able to view the new facilities. The main contractors for the project were Latimer Contracting Ltd, based in Thame, Oxfordshire.

The new pool changing rooms and reception area opened to the public in August. Recently completed have been car park re-surfacing and lining along with traffic calming measures. These were added for additional safety to the one-way traffic system.
