West Witney ladies win hockey trophy

West Witney ladies hockey team have won the Oxfordshire Summer League crown after beating Banbury ladies in a hard fought final.

Banbury had five first-teamers missing and went 3-0 down inside the opening 15 minutes against West Witney.

Banbury fought back in the second with two goals from Natasha Nunneley but West Witney proved too strong and took the title for the third time in five years.
