Peacock gives Witney man shock of his life

Peacock gives Witney man shock of his life A Witney man had the shock of his life last night (8th August) when he opened the back door of his house to see a Peacock in his back garden staring back at him.

The man, from the Newland Mill area, said that the bird flew up onto the ridge of a neighbours house where it made calling noises for a few minutes before flying to the roof of offices in Compton Close,

Has anyone else ever heard of such sightings in Witney or can anyone confirm, from the photo, that this bird is definately a Peacock/Peahen?
