Worries over missing Councillor

Cllr Andrew Creery was elected as a district councillor to represent Witney Central Ward in
2004. He is also a Witney town councillor.

Andrew did not come home last Tuesday evening and was reported missing by his wife on Wednesday. Since then he has not been seen or in contact with his wife, other family members or council representatives.

Cllr Barry Norton, Leader of the Council, said: “As you can imagine this is an extremely worrying time for all involved and especially for his wife and family. We all hope that Andrew turns up safe and well and I would encourage anyone who has seen him, or has any knowledge of his whereabouts, to contact the police.”

The police telephone number is 08458 505 505, callers should ask for the duty sergeant at Witney Police Station.
