Arson fears over Witney warehouse fire

Arson fears over Witney warehouse fire More than 50 firefighters from around the area tackled a severe fire after a suspected arson attack at a disused warehouse in Woodford Way, Witney.

The fire in the warehouse is said to have been so large that smoke was visible from all around the Witney area.

The majority of the building, which was mostly empty apart from some office equipment, was destroyed by the fire which broke out on Wednesday afternoon (1st March).

The cause is being investigated but it is believed that the blaze is being treated as suspicious.
