Cogges Manor Farm Museum

Cogges Manor Farm Museum is a working farm museum in Witney.

On entering the beautiful farmstead with its original Cotswold buildings you will discover what life was like for the Victorians of rural Oxfordshire through displays of farming in years gone by.

Cogges Manor Farm Museum

Children will enjoy meeting the traditional breeds of farm animals at Cogges Manor Farm Museum and talking to the farm hands and dairy maids as they go about their daily work.

In the Manor House you can meet the Victorian maids and find out what their lives were like just over 100 years ago. Watch as they cook on the kitchen range and sample some of their fresh baking if you are lucky!
Upstairs you can explore the history of the house, parts of which are more than 700 years old. In the activities room, children can try on Victorian clothes and play with replica toys and games.

Whether you take an audio tour of the farmyard, take a stroll in the walled kitchen garden, enjoy homemade cakes, drinks and ice creams in the Old Milking Parlour or browse the wide range of souvenirs, gifts, free range farm eggs and fresh seasonal produce you are sure to enjoy your trip to Cogges Manor Farm Museum.
