Win ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ tickets

Residents are being encouraged to get active and try dance classes in West Oxfordshire to be in with the chance of winning tickets for the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ Live Tour.

GO Active (Get Oxfordshire Active) is offering anyone who attends at least four of the same dance sessions in the District the chance to win two tickets for the tour, which is part of the popular BBC television show.

A variety of dance sessions supported by GO Active as part of its ‘Two Left Feet’ dance project are running in different parts of West Oxfordshire, as follows:

Monday
Zumba - Chipping Norton Leisure Centre - 6.30pm

Wednesday
SalsaFit – Middle Barton Sports and Social club - 7.30pm
Just Jhoom - Madley Park Hall, Witney - 6.00pm
Zumba - Charlbury Memorial Hall - 6.30pm

Thursday
SalsaFit - Marlborough School, Woodstock - 7.00pm
Just Jhoom - Marlborough School, Woodstock - 8.00pm
Zumba - Bartholomew Sports Centre, Eynsham - 7.00pm
Zumba - Bledington Village Hall - 10.00am
Zumba - Windrush Leisure Centre, Witney - 7.00pm

Friday
Salsa - Stonesfield Village Hall - 8.00pm
Zumba - Windrush Leisure Centre, Witney - 6.00pm

Saturday
Zumba - Bartholomew Sports Centre, Eynsham - 4.00pm

Anyone who attends at least four of the same sessions will be entered into the prize draw and one winner will be picked at random.

Cllr Richard Langridge, Cabinet Member for Local Economy and Communities, said: “We hope the popularity of Strictly Come Dancing will inspire people to try out these dance classes. It’s a great way to keep fit and meet new people, as well as having some fun too.”
