Witney fraudster given suspended sentence

A Witney woman who received four thousand pounds from bogus benefits cailms has been given a six month suspended sentence at Oxford Crown Court.

A jury was told how the woman (and her partner) bought 31 cars from a car auction and made ten thousand pounds from selling them on.

The woman has two previous convictions for obtaining benefit by deception in 1992.
