A40 Closed - Breaking News

Reports say that The A40 Witney bypass has been closed in both directions due to fallen power cables.

The report says that the road is closed between B4022 and A415 Ducklington Lane.

Electrical engineers are on scene and traffic is being diverted through Witney.

** Update ** The road was re-opened around 4:45pm, but the traffic lights at the bottom of Dry Lane, Crawley were out when we passed them at 18:30 (not sure if this is linked to the power outage).
