Family fun for National Family Week

A sports day and free swimming sessions are being organised in West Oxfordshire to encourage families to have fun together as part of National Family Week.

The following events and special offers will be available at the District Council’s leisure centres on Saturday 30th May as part of the new nationwide week-long initiative, starting on 25th May.

These events are free and open to all West Oxfordshire residents:

Sports Day at the Windrush Leisure Centre, Witney. With a bouncy castle, ‘Tiger Tots’ session for young children and their parents/carers, and roller-disco between 9am-1.30pm, followed by free family swimming from 2pm-4.45pm.
Free family swimming at Carterton Leisure Centre, 1pm-2.30pm.
Free family swimming at Chipping Norton Leisure Centre, 3pm-4pm.

Nexus Community, which runs the Council’s leisure centres, is organising the free swimming and sports day.
