Half-term fun at libraries in Oxfordshire
Several Oxfordshire County Council-run libraries are putting on special events for children to enjoy during their school half-term holiday next week.
The free activities are designed to encourage children to use the range of services at their local libraries and to develop their reading skills at an early age.
They include storytimes, which are interactive reading sessions, and rhymetimes, where younger children can sing well-known nursery rhymes.
Witney Library events:
Wednesday February 18th
A storytime at Witney Library at 10am
Thursday February 19th
A rhymetime session at Witney Library at 10am
Booking is advised and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
