Alcohol stolen in burglaries

Police are appealing for witnesses after there were two burglaries in the Burwell area of Witney this week where alcohol was stolen from peopleís homes.

The first incident was in Burwell Meadow when at around 7pm on Tuesday (25/11) a houseís garage was broken into and beer taken.

Then at some time between 5.30pm and 8.30pm on Wednesday (26/11), a house was entered in Colwell Drive and beer taken from a fridge in the kitchen.

Anyone who has seen suspicious activity in the Burwell area in the early evening this week is urged to contact Det Sgt Craig Kirby at Witney police station via the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.
