Witney Flooding Claims Life

Reports say that a 17 year old boy lost their life yesterday after they got stuck in floods in Witney.

The BBC says that Emergency crews were called to Eastfield Road on Tuesday evening after two boys became trapped in a culvert during flash flooding.

A second boy is in the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford.

Nearly a month's rainfall hit Oxfordshire on Tuesday and many areas were flooded - less that a year after flooding devistated Witney last July.
