Fatal collision – near Burford

Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision on the A361 near the Kencot and Holwell junction (near Cotswold Wildlife Park).

At around 11.40pm last night (6th December) emergency services were called to a green Renault Clio which had collided with a tree. The car had been travelling towards Lechlade.

An 18-year-old man was taken to the JR2 Hospital where he later died of his injuries. Another man was also taken to hospital and is being treated for his injuries.
