Serious crash - Witney

Police were called to Woodgreen Hill, Woodstock Road, Witney, today (26/3) following a serious crash.

A Mercedes and a motorbike collided just after 10am.

The elderly man riding the bike was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with very serious injuries. The elderly man driving the car was left shocked and shaken.

The road was closed to allow collision investigators to assess the scene and for the vehicles to be recovered.

The road was reopened at 1.45pm.
