Repairs to the Witney bypass
Oxfordshire County Council is to repair the worn out surface of the A40 Witney Bypass dual carriageway starting on Monday, March 19.
The job is scheduled to last for five days and a 40mph speed limit will be in place on sections of the road during the work.
Councillor David Robertson, Oxfordshire County Council's Cabinet Member for Transport, said: "We need to resurface this road for the future benefit of all road users.
"Our plan is to get the job done without the necessity for road closures. However we will need to put a temporary speed limit in place for the safety of the workforce and other road users.
"I look forward to the job being done so that we can reap the benefits in the future."
