Heritage Grants

West Oxfordshire District Council is offering grants to support the development of heritage opportunities in the District.

Voluntary museums and local history organisations can apply for grants of between 100 and 500. This funding is available to support local heritage projects that will benefit the communities of West Oxfordshire.

Examples of previous projects that have been supported by these grants include improvements to museum displays, temporary exhibitions, local history publications and the development of educational support materials for school visits to museums.

To be eligible for the grant, applicants must have a constitution and identified aims and objectives. Museums must be registered or able to demonstrate a commitment to achieving the new phase of Museum Registration, Accreditation.

The closing date for applications is 15th April 2007.
