Brize Norton Primary School burglary
Police are appealing for information after several items were stolen from Brize Norton Primary School during a burglary overnight on Friday (18/01).
The incident occurred sometime between 6pm and 5.54am. The offenders gained access by smashing a first floor window before stealing a DVD player, cheque book and unknown quantity of cash.
"The local area has been subject to numerous anti-social problems in recent weeks including heightened activity in the area of the school after dark," explains Sgt Mark Smith from the Carterton Neighbourhood Team. "I would appeal for anyone with information relating to this burglary or the recent anti-social behaviour to contact the police on 0845 8 505 505. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
