Witney.net targetted by fraudsters

On Tuesday 3rd October someone registered as a user of the witney.net messageboard and sent out emails to other messageboard members asking for assistance in transferring $10.5M for inveestment purposes in exchange for 15% of the total amount.

This is a common scam attempted via the internet and has received a lot of media coverage, both on TV and in the newspapers.

Today we have spoken to the Metropolitan Police Fraud Alert Department and they are aware of this particular "attack" via witney.net
