Support for Chinese Community and Advice Centre

The Council's Cabinet has recommended a grant of 750 to be awarded to the Oxfordshire Chinese
Community and Advice Centre (OCCAC).

The Centre helps non-English speaking Chinese across Oxfordshire, to gain equal access to services.

Cabinet Member for Finance, Cllr Mary Neale said "This grant continues our support for the excellent work the centre does within the Chinese Community in West Oxfordshire".

OCCAC has been serving the non-English speaking Chinese community in Oxfordshire for 15 years, providing support for over 1,400 Chinese families over the last year. The grant will be used to support a minimum bilingual advice service and to purchase one desk top computer.
