Witney blaze causes damage to shops

Witney blaze causes damage to shops A fire in the entrance of the Sobell House charity shop in Witney last night is believed to have been caused by arsonists.

The fire started at 11.05pm and the flames damaged part of the roof.

The shop next door, Laughing Stock, is also thought to have been damaged as the entrance door is boarded at present. The Figments gift store was also danaged.

The charity shop is currently surrounded by scaffolding (see photo above).
