Festive gifts galore at Visitor Information Centres

West Oxfordshire’s Visitor Information Centres (VICs) are getting into the Christmas spirit with gifts and decorations on sale – and are giving you the chance to grab a bargain during a special discount week.

Description: VIC gifts and Andreia 2To help mark Small Business Saturday on the 5 December, the VICs in Burford High Street and Welch Way, Witney, are offering 10% off of a range of gift items throughout the second week of the month. All you need to do to receive the discount is quote code VICXmas2015 at the time of purchase between Saturday 5 and Saturday 12 December.

Normal opening times are Monday to Saturday until 5pm and 10am-4pm on Sunday in Burford only. Witney VIC is now open from 10am-4pm every Sunday up until 20 December to cater for the busy festive period.

The VICs, which are run by the District Council to help promote West Oxfordshire and support the local tourism industry, are stocking a variety of Christmas products from tree and home decorations, stockings and present sacks, to gifts and stocking fillers.

Andreia Barros de Almeida, assistant at Witney VIC (pictured holding some of the goods available), said: “We’ve got variety of gifts and decorations in store from pocket money presents to locally produced goods. It’s definitely worth popping in to have a look at what’s on offer and seeing if you can save some money with our 10% off deal!”
