Have you received your poll cards?

This week election poll cards are being mailed to all West Oxfordshire residents registered to vote at the local elections on Thursday 2 May 2013.

Residents should receive their Poll Cards by Wednesday 3 April and the District Council is urging anyone who has not had theirs to get in touch.

Electoral Registration Officer Keith Butler is also advising residents not registered to vote to act now if they are to have their say. He said, “If you have not received your poll card by 3 April, it could mean you are not on the register and we know there are people living in the District who have not yet done this.

“Sometimes people do not realise that they need to re-register each year. Also anyone who has moved house in the past few months needs to check they are registered at their new address.”

Residents can request a registration form by emailing [email protected]; calling the elections office on 01993 861410, or by printing a registration form from www.westoxon.gov.uk/electoralregister.

The deadline for receiving ‘register to vote’ applications is Wednesday 17 April.
