Councillors Code of Conduct

West Oxfordshire District Council has adopted a Code of Conduct that sets out rules governing the behaviour of its councillors.

The Code was effective from 1 July, and covers aspects of the behaviour and conduct of members. It also includes rules governing the disclosure of interests and withdrawal from meetings where councillors have relevant interests. Councillors are required to record on a public register their financial interests.

The code of conduct is available at the Council Offices at Woodgreen, Witney, or from the Council's website at: www.westoxon.gov.uk/conduct
