Snake's HEad Fritillary

Details should be confirmed as they are likely to change each year, but there is usually a plant stall and cream teas. The Church also refers to the importance of the fritillary in carvings, a stained glass window and embroidery on the altar cloth and kneelers.

The Snake's Head Fritillary has geen adopted as the emblem for Oxfordshire. Oxfordshire is one of the only places where the Fritillary can be seen in abundance and thrives in damp pastures like the field near Ducklington Church, and Magdalen Meadow and Iffley Meadow in Oxford.

This event is organised by Ducklington Church and raises funds for the church.
